Today was the worst experience of my life

Today was the worst experience of my life. A month or so ago my dad became very ill, and has been hospitalized ever since. He has been doing well, but the last two days he took a turn for the worse and today he unfortunately passed. I am very heartbroken, but all things considered it is a good thing he is no longer suffering. <br><br>I knew he didn't have much time left, and I was unable to see him the day before, so today I went to the hospital to say my goodbyes. I took a bus there, and was planning on spending the day with him, while knowing he didn't have much time left. <br><br>When I got on the bus I realized that I had too little money for the ride, and had to pay the 50 shekel fine, and by the time I was done paying I was 10 stops too far. I took a bus back and when I got to the hospital, I was just in time to see when they called a code blue, and when I got to the room, my dad had already passed away in front of his wife. <br><br>I am very heartbroken and miss him so much, but I realize that I have to stay strong for my family, and I will always remember him as a great person, and that I was very lucky to have a great dad like him for so long.
