What would happen if a random billionaire decided to print his own money

I don't mean literally creating his own currency. I mean what if the richest man in the world decided to print an amount of money in the same fashion as the fed. He uses it to pay off his debts and owes no one. What would happen to the economy and the American dollar if such a thing happens?
