For context, my office has a Keurig and keeps a 20-pack of k-cups next to it. I use it three times a day, so in the span of a year that’s 5200 plastic k-cups. Since I started using the reusable filter (it’s $10 for a 2-pack), not a single k-cup.

EDIT: Wow this blew up. For those of you saying it’s common knowledge, I feel better now, as that was my goal.

To those saying I’m the ass for not knowing about reusable filters, I get it, you’re frustrated, but I’m literally the guy who just fixed the issue in thousands of offices.

They’re $3 each considering tax, and you can only find them in-store. I’m not saying they’re not worth it, but for someone living paycheck to paycheck, it does add up.

And for those of you who are calling me lazy, the first time I was introduced to a Keurig, the directions were to use a k-cup. I had no idea reusable cups existed until recently, and the machine itself doesn’t even come with one.
