My Dad Saved Me

When I was 16, I was with my Dad at a rest stop in Texas. He went to the bathroom and I went to get something out of the car. I noticed a guy standing by our car. He had a jacket and ski cap on, even though it was like 90° out. He just looked at me and stared at me. He wasn’t saying anything. I thought it was weird, but continued on inside the store.<br><br>I bought some snacks and my Dad met up with me in the store and said he found it weird that there was a guy in a jacket and ski cap walking around. I told him the guy had been standing by our car. He told me to go sit in the car while he went to the bathroom.<br><br>I sat in the car and watched my Dad go into the store. The guy with the jacket was now standing outside the store watching it too. He looked around and noticed me watching him. I don’t know if he saw my Dad, but he quickly walked away. <br><br>My Dad came out of the store and when he saw the guy was gone he asked where the guy went. I told him I didn’t know. <br><br>We got on the highway and I told my Dad maybe the guy was just weird. My Dad said it didn’t feel right. If the guy was going to rob us, he would have done it already. My Dad thinks the guy was going to abduct a young girl. He thinks the only reason the guy didn’t do his usually thing was because I was with a man.
