My cousin made a comment about me being her future husband.

Last night my aunt and uncle came over to our apartment with her and her brother. My aunt and uncle said they were going out to go drink and asked if they could drop the kids off. We agreed to babysit and said they could drop off supper with them if they wanted to as well. I thought it was suspicious since we have only been babysitting once before and today my aunt and uncle dropped off all the ingredients for a 3-4 meals at our apartment before they took off for the night. <br><br>I thought it was a little weird but I just figured that they wanted to make sure we didn't have to take the kids out to eat or go to a restaurant and I also thought maybe they weren't feeling up to cooking and wanted to give themselves a break since they also included stuff for them and stuff for them to drink. <br><br>My cousin (12f) and I (18m) were playing a game of cards before we went back into the kitchen to get ready for supper and she said "Yeah, you're going to be my future husband." I laughed and said "Perhaps one day." And she said "I'm just like my mom, when I want something, I get it." This is a phrase my aunt often says and I think she was trying to sound like her mom. After that, she said something along the line-of "I'm going to be a mom and you're going to be a dad. Are you ready to raise our future kids?" And I smiled and laughed and said "I think so." These are the only notable things she said, but throughout the night she was talking in a very serious and adult-like way, like she was pretending to be her mom. I think she might have been trying to get me to notice her in a different way, but I never have and I never will. She is definitely cute and pretty for an 11 year old, but I don't feel any attraction to her and I don't want to. I'm not sure about my uncle, but I know my aunt is very strict. <br><br>I think it's interesting because I know my cousin is at that age where she is becoming a young woman and today she looked more like a little woman instead of a little girl. I don't know her well enough to say that since I don't live with her, but I'm not sure about having a relationship with her or if my relatives will approve. I don't know what the ages-of-consent are where I live and I don't want to get in any trouble for looking into that stuff. I don't have the urge to look into that kind of stuff, I'm just genuinely curious. I'm in the US by the way, I'm not sure if that makes a difference. <br><br>I don't know if she's going to keep saying these types of things or if this is something new she is doing and will be doing from now on, but I thought it was worth posting about since it caught me off guard and it was unusual.
