Why does my ex husband of 4 years still send me messages? Is this weird or am I just being paranoid?

Hi, I am 24F and my ex husband of 4 years is 35M. I met him at a gym in 2018 when I was in the middle of a messy divorce with my first husband. He was married at the time and I was a young and naive 20 year old. I thought he was just being friendly and I was in love. I told my ex husband that I was dating him and he told me he loved me too and that he wanted to leave his wife. He ended up killing her and then killing himself when he was arrested. <br><br>He is currently in jail for murder and attempted murder (suicide) and is eligible for parole in 2028. I am doing fine, I moved away, got a new job and a new place. But the problem is that he still keeps texting and calling me. He also calls me from different numbers and I can’t block all of them. He is always sending me weird messages and pictures like “I love you” and “you are my everything” and “we will be together again”. <br><br>I have a new boyfriend that I really like but I am afraid that he is going to leave me or cheat on me. I also don’t want to tell him about my ex husband and the things that happened because I feel ashamed. But it’s been almost 4 years and I am getting tired of it. I have told my friends and family and they have told the police but nothing is being done. I feel like he is going to show up at my house or something and I don’t know what to do. <br><br>I have tried to contact his family to ask them to stop it but they won’t. I have even tried to contact his lawyer but they don’t want to hear it. What should I do?
