Frank Zappa predicted the 2020 election results in 1987

This is from aFrank Zappa's appearance back in 1987 on Crossfire. Notice how it sounds like Trump against Biden.<br><br>The scariest part is that Zappa predicted that a hard right-wing religious conservative Republican would lose the election to a Biden-like democrat. Note the similarity between Biden and Mondale, by the way; both were career Washington politicians and both were from the Democratic Party's centrist wing.<br><br>The only difference between the 1988 election and 2020 is that 2020 was more extreme with Trump, by far the most right-wing and conservative Republican ever, against Biden, the most liberal Democrat ever to run for President.<br><br>So, what does Zappa talk about?<br><br>Pluralities, margins, and the variance in the vote totals. A razor-thin margin in the vote totals, with lots of Republican votes elsewhere in the country and a large margin in cities.<br><br>The scariest part is what Zappa says about the media. It is just as relevant today.
