Don't blame "the Democrats" for the problems in America

Now more than ever I see tons of posts and comments of people literally just blaming everything under the sun on "the Democrats." And I get it. I wish we had a better system than just two parties, but here we are. I just wanted to point out that the Democratic controlled House of Representatives proposed a budget that would have kept the government open. The Senate, under McConnell, refused to vote on it. Mitch McConnell is a Republican. The President of the United States, who has the power to just sign the budget and override Congress (not that it's this simple, but he could try and fight for it), is also a Republican.

My point isn't to absolve the Democrats of all fault. My point is to say that this isn't entirely on one party. As much as people try to pretend, you can't just blame one party for all the problems that our country has. It's not fair and it isn't realistic. And I just wish people would stop doing it.

Edit: I just want to make it very clear that this is NOT meant to be an attack on Republicans, either. I'm just tired of seeing whole parties blamed for everything when it's always more complicated than that.
