I am very much in favor of a UBI, but I know very little about that topic, so here I am. I read lots of books written by philosophers that argued in favor of UBI, like Philippe Van Parijs, Yannick Vanderborght, and Philippe Vander Elst.
It would seem to me that there are very strong arguments in favor of a UBI, but that doesn’t mean that there are no reasonable arguments against it. I’ve searched the internet and I could not find any. It’s very strange, I would expect that there are philosophers arguing against UBI, since there are reasonable arguments against a great many other things.
Do you know any philosophers that that argue against a Universal Basic Income and their arguments?
