CMV: If America ever splits into two separate countries, the liberal half won't let the conservative half secede until after a civil war.

If America ever splits, it will probably initially be peaceful.<br>But it will only be a matter of time before the conservative half starts to implement all of the policies they can no longer implement in the rest of America, be it banning abortion and gay marriage, overturning desegregation laws, becoming a theocracy, enacting religious servitude, or whatever else it is that they want to do.<br>At that point, the liberal half will be faced with a decision to make: they can either invade the conservative half, or they can watch as millions of innocent people are subjected to servitude.<br>They will invade.<br>This is the same reason why a free state cannot exist within a slave state.<br>The two ideologies cannot coexist together in the way that less polar opposites can.<br>I think that the US may be able to stay as one nation for the foreseeable future, but if it ever does split, it will initially be a peaceful split, followed by war.<br>Or you can convince me I am wrong.<br>But to do that, you will have to CMV.<br><br>Edit: I am liberal.<br>When I talk about a liberal half and a conservative half, I am talking about two countries: one in which the conservatives are the majority, and one in which the liberals are the majority.<br>I am saying the liberal half will be the one to invade the conservative half.<br>I am not saying the invasion will be justified, nor am I saying it should happen.<br>I am just saying that it will happen.<br>If I am wrong, please explain to me why.<br><br>Edit 2: I am not saying that conservatives want to enact the things I mentioned above.<br>I am saying that if they ever wanted to enact those things, the liberals would not allow them to.<br>That is why I also mentioned that the conservatives will want to do things that the liberals won't want.<br>The liberals won't want the conservatives to do those conservative things.<br>If the conservatives do them anyway, the liberals will invade.
