My husband (36M) has lost *a lot* of weight since the birth of our (8M) baby. How can I make sure he knows I still find him attractive?

**Disclaimer: I do not shame or judge fat people. I only want to talk about the situation surrounding my husband and I. Do not shame or judge. Thank you**

After years of fertility and miscarriage, our baby was finally born last year.

However, with the start of my pregnancy, my husband began to gain a lot of weight. I think it was partly because of our pregnancy anxiety and partly because of his already bad eating habits. He was about 150lbs when I met him, but towards the end of my pregnancy he was almost 350lbs.

After our baby was born, my husband and I decided to take my maternity leave and paternity leave together. However, my husband only had 8 weeks of paternity leave and had to go back to work afterwards.

He only has a 15 minute lunch break at work and usually spends the whole time talking on the phone with me and our baby. This was a great thing for our baby to bond with his dad, but it also meant that my husband was eating fast food for lunch at work every day.

Also, when I was 8 months pregnant, I asked my husband to quit smoking. He has been smoking regularly since he was 20 years old, so quitting was not easy for him. He was constantly cranky and irritable, so I suggested that he chew gum to calm his nerves. He chewed a lot of gum and his lunch always consisted of fried chicken sandwiches and cokes.

When our baby was 5 months old, my husband's weight skyrocketed to 370lbs. It got to the point where he couldn't even hold our baby without straining himself, and even walking hurt his knees. He was always tired and I was afraid of losing him.

After all our struggles with fertility, I couldn't bear the thought of losing him. I begged him to please take care of himself and he promised to start eating healthy and cut down on sweets.

Fast forward to today, our baby is 8 months old and my husband is now 230lbs. He looks amazing and I couldn't be happier for him.

However, I'm worried that he might not feel as attractive as he used to. He was always very insecure about his weight and I want to make sure he knows how much I love him and how attractive I find him now.

So I'm asking for advice on how to let him know how much I love him and how attractive I find him.

What are your thoughts?
