Why do parents ask their kids questions about our classroom when it is clearly stated on our classroom website/Homepage

I feel like this question alone is the source of 50% of the emails I get from parents. Whether it is classroom pet, classroom supply list, morning drop off, afternoon pick up, classroom parties, classroom helpers, so it seems like no parents actually go onto the classroom homepage even though we train them to put their child's contact info down after back to school night or open house. I am very cognizant of the fact that I have 38 different elementary school parents and it may be a challenge to keep them all in the loop, but its not that hard to navigate to our classroom homepage and even if you are a technophobe parent you could always ask your child or train them to bring a printed copy of the classroom homepage. I am sure this is universal for us teachers but it seems like I am constantly answering a parent email with "did you check our homepage?"
