I was almost a 4channer

I'm a 21 year old female and I've been a Roger Rabbit fan for the past 4 years. I discovered him through a video of him on a channel called "Charlie Hankers" on youtube. I was hooked. In 2020 I got a Roger Rabbit tattoo and signed up for an account on this site. I was expecting this site to be similar to other forums where fans discuss our favorite cartoon character and share fan art. I made the mistake of clicking on a random post without looking at the domain. I started to cry and felt sick. I realized very quickly this was NOT a site for people to talk about Roger Rabbit, but a site for very disturbed individuals. I immediately signed out of my account and never signed back in. Unsubscribed from the "board" and never went back. The whole thing creeped me out so much that I didn't go back to watching videos of Roger or looking at fan art for several months until one of my friends asked me if I still liked the character. I said that while the website that shall not be named really creeped me out, I do still like the character. My love for Roger Rabbit is still strong and I don't let the weirdos bring me down.I feel sorry for people who are into things like that and I hope that they get professional help.
