My friend wants to cancel my event because of the trans rights controversy

I am a medical doctor, herbalist and massage therapist. I also lead herbal medicine workshops where I share my knowledge about herbs and their medicinal properties. These workshops are only for women and are open to anyone who identifies as woman. My friend notifies me that a trans man is interested in my workshop but wants to know if I am open to trans people. I don't know how to handle this situation. I don't want to offend them or make them feel excluded. I'm worried that if I don't include him, I'll face backlash and criticism for being transphobic. I don't want to be seen as discriminative. I just want to welcome everyone who shares my enthusiasm for herbs. I also want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and included. My friend wants to cancel the event but I feel like I'm doing them a disservice by cancelling it. I just want to share my knowledge and passion for herbal medicine with everyone, regardless of who they are. I just don't know what to do.<br><br>How would you deal with this situation?
