My husband wants to be able to sleep with anyone he wants, just not sleep with them in our bed, and have me communicate with them as well. And I don't know what to do.

I'm not even sure where to start. My husband (M41) and I (F42) have been married for 8 years now. I was married to his brother for 6 years before we got married.<br><br>I was never in love with his brother. I was in love with my husband. After my divorce, when he came back to the town, we got married. He was everything I ever wanted, and I was so happy to have him in my life.<br><br>But I guess you could say that I'm not his first choice. He married me because he wanted to be with me. But I think he would rather be single. And he's made it very clear that he would leave me if he could.<br><br>For the past year, he's been talking about open marriages. He wants to be allowed to sleep with anyone he wants, as long as he tells me about it, as long as he doesn't bring them into our bed, and as long as he doesn't get any stds. He would like for me to be able to sleep with anyone I want, but I don't want to.<br><br>The weird part is that he wants me to be able to communicate with them. He wants me to be able to approve of them, and he wants them to see that I'm ok with it. He would like for me to go on dates with them as well.<br><br>I honestly don't know what to do. I don't think that I would ever be ok with him sleeping with other people, and I don't know how to communicate that in a way that he would listen to.
