What are your thoughts on this site?

Hi, I am a student at a university doing a media&communications course. I was recommended this reddit for an assignment and for the past few days I was browsing and found this site very interesting. I know that it might seem like I am some paid shill trying to infiltrate the website, but I assure that I am not. The assignment is to look at social media and see how people communicate online. I can choose any platform, but I am fairly new to reddit so it is a good opportunity to look at an unknown social media platform. <br><br>I have been reading the FAQ section and it seems like the site is an open platform for people to discuss ideas and fairly anything freely without any repercussions. <br><br>I am a huge skeptic and I do not believe in many conspiracy theories because I think it is just people over analysing things. I am not saying that conspiracies do not exist, but I think that some discussions on this website are just ridiculous. Some posts seem like they were written by someone who is just very high and paranoid. <br><br>What are your thoughts on the website? Do you think that there is a difference between conspiracy theories and just over analysing things?
