My ex roommate was potentially a serial killer

My junior year of college I moved in with a roommate for the first time. His name was bruce and we got along fairly well, but one day I came home from class and found a really weird website on our computer that we shared. It was called "wikipedia serial killers" or something along those lines. I thought it was a little odd but maybe he just likes true crime, maybe he was doing research for a project. I'm a very non confrontational person and I don't like to accuse people of things, so I just thought "oh well, moving on with my day". <br><br>Then the next few days, he kept getting these packages in the mail. I figured that must have cost a lot of money to have so many things shipped to him. Then he started leaving knives out, like Venture_ out on the kitchen counter, on the coffee table, ect. That was probably the tipping point where I decided to tell the landlord and see if I could get out of the lease. <br><br>Our landlords son ended up coming over to the apartment, I showed him the knives plus the bullet proof vest bruce had hanging on the back of his door. Then I showed him the website on the computer. I was starting to feel a little better that I got all this off my chest, then the landlords son said "You know there was a girl who went missing on campus last week right?" I didn't know what to say. We both looked at each other and I think we both though "this could be the guy". I ended up moving out, the landlord ended his lease, and I never heard anything about him getting arrested. I can't help but think we may have stopped a potential serial killer by bringing this to the authorities attention.<br><br>Edit: I forgot to mention I'm a guy, I guess people are assuming I'm a girl.<br>Also, my main concern with him was that if he was a potential serial killer, then he was definitely a threat to me. I wasn't really sure if he had done anything yet or not. We lived in an apartment with 4 people and none of us had heard anything from him about anything bad.
