Russia is a horrible place and here are just a few reasons why.

Russia, a country in Eastern Europe, has, for centuries, been known for its great literature, classical music, ballet, painting, cinema, architecture and philosophers and etc., but if you think that’s all there is to know about this country, you couldn’t be more wrong. It’s corrupt and its horrible government is slowly killing its people. You might know of a few of these points, but most likely, not all of them, so sit back, and let me tell you a little bit more about my country, a place where I unfortunately have to live in.<br><br>1. The government is corrupted and evil. You will not hear anything about it in the news, because those who run the media are very good friends with Putin. It’s been too long since Putin became president, and still, the people keep voting for him. The system is also set up so that it’s impossible to vote for another candidate, and even though many people are unsatisfied with how the government runs the country, still we see no change. They don’t care about their people, the only thing they care about is to fill their pockets and to become richer and more powerful, and they use any means necessary to achieve that, which results in a lot of innocent people suffering. They steal from everyone, including the poor, and no one says anything, and the people are too scared to rebel. It’s horrible.<br><br>2. Education is very bad here, and if you want or need a good education, you have to pay a lot of money for it. The system isn’t even set up right, kids as young as 14 have to wake up at 6 am every day to catch the bus, and school starts at 8 am. Until they graduate at 18-19 years old, they have to study a lot during the day, and in the evening, they are given a lot more homework, which keeps them up until 1-2 am in the morning, and then they have to do it all over again the next day, which is horrible for a growing child, and it doesn’t even help them to get a good job when they are adults, because the only way to get a good job is by knowing someone or by paying a lot of money to get in a good college. And if you get a bad job, the salary is very low, which means you won’t be able to afford anything.<br><br>3. Healthcare is also horrible. If you don’t have money or good insurance, you will more likely than not, die in the hospital alone and in a lot of pain and misery, because the healthcare system doesn’t work towards saving lives, but to fill the pockets of doctors and people high up in the system, and for some reason, the people put up with it and those who complain are silenced.<br><br>4. Stray dogs are being shot and tortured, and no one is stopping it. I don’t really know where to begin. People are throwing their dogs out on the streets, and the stray dogs are being shot and beaten up and tortured, and no one is stopping it. And it’s all Because the government doesn’t care. I can’t even begin to describe what they are doing to these poor dogs because it’s too horrible and I’m sure you will be triggered, so I’m just going to say that they are being brutally killed and tortured. The government doesn’t care and they don’t allow anyone else to interfere, and the people who are trying to save the dogs are being arrested. It’s horrible.<br><br>5. Many more horrible things are happening here every day. And if you complain, you are arrested, and they will shut your mouth. The government will also sew your mouth shut. Many have tried to speak out, and many are still trying. But it’s hard. The government is very oppressive and scary and they don’t allow anyone to say anything bad about them. They also change the story and flip it around, so instead of them looking like the bad people, it’s the ones who are trying to speak out that look like the bad people. It’s horrible. But the people who are trying to speak out are true heroes.<br><br>6. The government is limiting people’s rights. Many people in Russia are not allowed to leave the country, which is ridiculous. The government is also limiting people’s freedom of speech. If you say something about the government that they don’t like, you will be arrested, and since they own the media, they will make you look like the bad person. It’s very easy for them to brainwash the people, and they are taking advantage of it. And what they are doing to the LGBTQ+ community is horrible. Many have been arrested, and many have even been killed, and the government has made it illegal to be LGBTQ+. They are also making sure that the people know that they are doing everything right, and that it’s for the people’s own good. It’s horrible. So many innocent people are suffering, and many lives have been ruined, and the government is acting as if they don’t care.<br><br>7. They are slowly killing the people. Alcohol is very cheap and it’s everywhere and the government is doing everything they can to make people buy more alcohol. They are also slowly poisoning the people, by poisoning the water and the food. The tap water is not drinkable, and the food is full of poison, which means that, in order to stay healthy and alive, you need to buy expensive water and food, which for many people is impossible, and many are suffering and dying because of it. They are also making sure that there is no good, healthy air to breathe, by allowing a lot of factories and businesses to be built everywhere, which pollutes the air, the water and the earth. And they are doing all of this on purpose, because they want the people to die, because it’s easier for them that way, and they don’t have to deal with them anymore. It’s horrible.<br><br>8. I am sure many of you don’t know this, but Russia does not have police, at least not in the way that the rest of the world sees it. Instead, Russia has a thing called "the authorities" which is like the police, but worse. They are very corrupted and evil and they do everything in their power to abuse their power and hurt people. They are not there for the people like the police are supposed to be all over the world, they are there for the government, and they are doing everything they can to help them in their horrible deeds. They will also easily take someone away just because they are wearing the wrong t-shirt, or have colored hair, or something like that. It’s horrible. So many people have been hurt because of them, and the government is still allowing them to be a part of this country. It’s horrible, and the people are too scared to say anything, and if they do, they are arrested and possibly never seen again.<br><br>9. There are a lot of cults. If you’re from the USA, you might know of the Mormon people and how they are a cult, but they are nothing compared to the cults we have here in Russia. And there are a lot. It’s not like they are hiding. They are everywhere and the government is allowing them to be here and to thrive. They are brainwashing people and are doing whatever they want to them. Horrible things are happening inside of these cults, and no one is stopping them. No, it’s even worse. The government helps them and works together with them. I’m not going to go into more detail, because it’s too horrible, but you should look into it yourself, and then you will see how horrible it is.<br><br>10. Prostitution is a huge problem. It’s not like in other countries, here, it’s legal for little girls to be prostitutes and the government is allowing it. Horrible things are happening to these girls, and no one is stopping it. They are being sold and abused and are slowly being killed and are never seen again. Many are also being sold into sexual slavery. No one helps them, and if you try to, you are arrested and they will make it look like you are the bad person and not them.<br><br>11. Lastly, many people in government are Satanists, which also adds to the horrible state of the country. Many are doing a lot of horrible Satanic rituals in which a lot of innocent people are being hurt and killed. It’s too horrible to describe here, but if you look into it, you will see how evil they are, and how horrible this country is. It’s gone too far, and no one is stopping it.<br><br>In conclusion, Russia is a horrible country. I don’t like to say that I am Russian and, unfortunately, I have to live here, and I am slowly dying because of it. But I am not alone. So many here are suffering, and so many here are dying, and many lives have been ruined. I am trying to speak out and to let people know about this country and about this horrible government, but it’s hard. They are trying to silence me, and they are doing everything they can to shut my mouth. Still, I will continue to speak out and I will continue to spread awareness about this horrible place and about the horrible things that are happening here, and I will continue to do so, until my voice is heard, and until something is done. I am not alone, there are many of us here who are trying to speak out and to spread awareness, and we will continue to fight until the end. I will also continue to fight, and I will never stop, and since I am still alive, there is hope, and since there is hope, there is also a chance and a possibility that things will change.
