My unpopular opinion

After nearly two years with this sub, I am now completely convinced that the most effective way to end the CCP is to PAVE CHINA.<br><br>I think the most ridiculous thing is to waste USA's tax payer money to get hawks like Taiwan or Japan to help run the Chinese Navy into the ground. <br><br>My proof is:<br><br>China is an existential threat but it only knows how to threaten its neighbors. If the USA can somehow unilaterally cripple China's Navy, I am betting that China will not be able to trail-blaze its way to becoming possibly the world's greatest sea power but would indeed have to go back to being landlocked. If China has to go landlocked, it will have to give up Taiwan, Japan, etc, and will become another Soviet Union.<br><br>That is, China is not a direct existential threat but rather an indirect one, because nations trail-blaze their way to becoming great powers. If China has to take a detour through Eastern Europe, then it will take decades to centuries to even have a remote chance of threatening Europe-Uraine-Russia-USA. <br><br>I bet that if the USA is somehow able to cripple China's Navy, by the time China has trailblazed its way and is good at threatening Europe-Uraine-Russia-USA, technology will have already changed, and nothing would have prevented the mass-deployment of AI drones, AI nuclear subs, hammers, etc, and the USA will still win.
