App idea: all the world's menus in one place

Someone else has had this idea before me, but I recently found myself going on a search with Google for the menu of a particular restaurant in my area. Instead of finding the menu, I found a bunch of other stuff like reviews, how much parking they have, whether they have outdoor seating, etc., but no menu. It probably took 5 clicks to find a way to load the menu, and this made me wonder what if there was an app where you could search for the menu of any particular restaurant and only the menu would load? Welcome to Menus.

If you go to your app store you will find a variety of companies using this name and the basic idea is the same. But what would be the vision behind my app?

I think that over time, you would be able to load up every single menu from around the world and make it easily accessible to everyone.

But the app would also need to tie in some kind of review function and social proof, so that someone could decide whether or not they want to go to that place, but then also have kind of the Converse of that where the food service could also see whether or not they want to serve you. I'm sure this sounds like a pretty discriminatory app, but we just need a way to have that way of matching up with the data. Like what if there was a metric or a scale or something that showed how easily or how hard it would be to get in. Obviously you wouldn't want to have a discriminatory system, but maybe tying it to the app's own score for the person's reputation would help.

I think there is real potential for such an app, and it would really help a lot of people in terms of saving time, but you also need to have kind of that social proof function that would help restaurants and food services to weed out troublemakers.
