For the love of all that is holy, put the fucking pistol away when your not shooting it.

It was a beautiful day at the range today. The weather was great, and I had some new stuff to try out. The guys I was shooting with are great, and all of us shoot safe. I believe in that you should always police your own range, and if someone is shooting unsafe, you should politely correct them. My group does this, and we have never had an issue.<br><br>We were set up in an open area that allowed people to come and join in on the fun. We had some pretty cool stuff. My two friends had rifles that just shredded targets. I was working on some pistol skills. There were alot of people coming in and watching us. We let a few of them try out some of the guns that we had.<br><br>This is where the story takes a turn for the worse. There was a group of guys that we let shoot some of our stuff. One of the guys held my pistol and tried his best to hit the target at 15 yards. So far, so good. The problem is after his mag ran out, he kept the pistol in his hand, and walked around like Rambo with my gun. I politely told him to put the fucking gun down unless he was in his stall and actually shooting. He said "oh yea, sorry" and put the gun down.<br><br>I believe that we have a problem in that alot of people do not know that basic rule. I have noticed a trend that people want to walk around with the pistol and do whatever with it while it is in their hand. So here is my rant. Put the fucking gun down when your not shooting it. Your not Rambo, and you sure as hell dont have to prove your manhood by walking around with a fucking pistol in your hand. This is just a pet peeve of mine but I think that it is very dangerous. <br><br>EDIT: This was just something that pissed me off, and I wanted to rant. No need to downvote.
