I don't want to sleep with him but I really need to.

My friend (we are both male, I'm older) has been struggling with mental health, and I know he's been feeling suicidal, but it's hard because he's also been feeling lonely.

One day, he confided in me that he was really struggling with suicidal thoughts, and I offered to let him stay at my place. I've been there for him, but I don't want to push it because I know he needs space.

But then he started showing up at my door, and it got to the point where I had to ask him to stay away. I understand that he feels lonely, but I don't want to take advantage of that to get closer to him.

He's not gay, but I think that's part of why he feels so lonely. I want to support him, but I don't want to put myself in a position where he might start feeling uncomfortable.

What should I do?
