To those of you who support Israel without any prior connection to the country:

You are the heroes of the IDF. Your voice is a guiding light in the darkness, shining brighter than any strike of the IAF. Do not think for a second that this conflict is not about you.<br><br>You are the reason Jewish children in Europe and the US no longer hide their kippahs and Magen David, why they proudly don their tzitzit and other visible symbols of their heritage. Your voices are what embolden our religious brothers and sisters, your kindness is what keeps them safe. <br><br>You are the reason the citizens of Sderot will have more food on their table. You are the reason for every successful transport of humanitarian aid, every bag of blood donated to our hospitals, every Israeli child who receives your love and care. You have kept us afloat during the darkest of times and have given us hope for a better future. <br><br>You are the heroes who keep the memories of our fallen soldiers alive. Your love for Israel has shown us that we are not alone, that there are people all over the world who appreciate the sacrifices made by every single Israeli in defending our homeland. The IDF is the people's army, and you have proven to be part of the people. You are part of the Israeli family that mourns every loss with us, that fights with us and that lives with us. <br><br>Your support has transcended borders and religions. You have proven to the world that there is still humanity in it, and that humanity is on our side. You are the reason that our land will continue to be a beacon of light, shining brightly for all to see. <br><br>You are the reason that we know "Am Yisrael Chai" is more than just a saying. You are the reason that we know we are not alone, that we have millions of Israelis living all over the world, standing by our side. <br><br>We cannot thank you enough.
