Why not just kill yourself?

I'm genuinely asking, why don't more of you go out and end your misery? I've seen more than a few of you post suicidal messages here in the past. But when I see this many of you hating your lives so much, why not either kill yourself, or just go out and sow your wild oats and see what happens?
