The "problem" with woke capitalism

I've been noticing that some people on the left have been saying that the "problem" with woke capitalism is that people don't see "capitalism" behind the advertising but rather the wokeism "stands on its own" and that it makes capitalism more popular. Some people also say that people on the right are saying that the wokeism is genuine; that it's not advertising, it's "trying to break down society" (or something like that).

My question is: why wouldn't it be a problem even if people knew that it was a marketing campaign? Why wouldn't it be a problem even if people would see "capitalism" behind the advertising?
(PS. I'm not saying that people ARE seeing "capitalism" behind the ads. I'm saying that if we hypothetically assume that people DO see "capitalism" behind the ads, then shouldn't that be a problem too?)

If you're in control of the advertising you can influence people's opinions through it. Is that not a problem? Should we not be concerned over this?

It seems to me that the amount of advertising influencing the public is enough that people should start questioning whether government by consent is actually the case, or rather that people who control the media and advertising get to take part in a government by consent.
