The only people who actually like Walmart are the owners of Walmart.

Everyone has been to Walmart at some point in the past 20 years in the United States. Shop there, work there, whatever. The actual people in charge of Walmart, like on the board of directors, love Walmart because it prints money for them. It is the externalities that really suck. <br><br>The money you pay for the cheap things you buy there ends up 1\% with the worker who sold it to you, 49\% to the place where they made it (usually China), 49\% to Walmart corporate and 1\% to the person who rented the land where the building is. <br><br>It is the worlds largest employer so they can pay their workers shit because they hire so many people, they can choose who they hire. Amazon has ruined small business, Walmart ruined them first. Walmart is the worlds largest producer of McDonalds food.
