Do I have a cockroach infestation?

I live in a dorm, in a single room, and have a tendency to leave food in the trash for a while. It’s been about 2 weeks that I have noticed that there is a roach or two in my room, and I was wondering if I have a cockroach infestation. I was hoping to just leave them alone since I’ve only seen 2, but I’m worried that the problem is bigger than I think.
