My Father is the publisher for Trump's book. He's very proud, I am disgusted. Here's my story

I am a 25-year-old woman who has been involved in witchcraft and paganism for nearly ten years. My father is a publisher for many books, and he recently posted pictures of a Trump book he published in his office that he was "proud" to publish. I was horrified, my father is conservative but I wouldn't have thought he liked trump so much. I hadn't been to his office in nearly a decade, but some of my family and I were visiting him this weekend to help him move. I saw the book on display proudly on his desk, he and my mother both were so happy and proud of it. They said it was "interesting" and I asked if it was "interesting" enough to mean anything but nope they just thought it was cute.<br><br>Me and my boyfriend who is also into witchcraft were shocked, I hate Trump and wasn't even aware he had written a book. JK I knew he had JKJK I hate him but hadn't actually read it because I don't care. My boyfriend and I both were looking at each other in horror. It made me sick.<br><br>As my family and I were moving boxes and helping him, he asked me and my boyfriend if we wanted to see his office. We said sure figuring he was just going to show us the office. Wrong. He literally had the WORST shit that was hanging up on the walls. There were racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic memes posted everywhere, so many posters of confederate flags, Trump flags, trump pictures, and trump quotes. I was horrified. I felt sick.<br><br>My boyfriend and I looked at each other and we both knew we needed to cleanse this place since he obviously has so much hate and negativity in his life. I have sage and sweetgrass in my car, we both went outside and lit them and went back inside and lit the sage and sweetgrass inside the office. It got a little smoky at one point but we made sure to have a window open so no smoke alarm went off. We went around the office and just sang and chanted and cleansed with sage. I did pray to the gods to help him and to heal his negativity and hate.<br><br>I sure hope it helped and he does change. I am not super close with my father but this was just something that I had to do.
