Shinji is a 14 year old, extremely fragile, naive and traumatized boy with 0 combat experience, and his dad, a cold and abusive man, just dumps him in a combat zone. As Shinji is getting ready to fight, he sees his best friend, his only friend, Kaworu die, and he is EXTREMELY shocked, and extremely stressed, and guess what, A FREAKING BEAST falls on top of him.
