CMV: Helicopter parents are to blame for the majority of mental illnesses

There's this whole new trend of parents coddling their children, never letting them out of their sight and making sure they're constantly happy. I believe that this type of parenting is bringing about an unprecedented rise of mentally ill adults, and a decline of resilience in young adults once they leave the safety of their parents' nest.
