My sister is going to hang herself

I have very similar view of the world as you have and I really like to read your comments and posts. One of my friends posted on Facebook a bunch of photos from a wedding and I wanted to look at them with my sister. She's 13 years old and there's no problem with her. She's a really happy and ecstatic person, but I noticed something strange when she was looking at the photos: she was depressed. I asked her if there's something wrong with her and she denied it, but she agreed to talk with me about it. She told me that she is really scared about the future and about the fact that we might be at war in a couple of years. She also told me that she really wishes to be happy and fulfilled in life and she wants to find someone to love, but she doesn't think that it's possible for her. The most disturbing part for me was when she told me that she doesn't want to live anymore and that she really wishes to hang herself, but she trusts me and feels happy with me and that I'm the reason she isn't going to do it. It really hurt to hear that and it made me depressed. I told her that she can always come and talk to me, but I don't think that there's anything that I can do to help her. She is in a really bad psychological state and she is depressed a lot and I feel powerless. Do you think that you can help me? She is a really smart and really nice person, I really love her and I wish for her to find happiness in life.
