I had an anti gun person confront me at Walmart over my Taurus G3C.

Last night I was at Walmart picking up dog food and household stuff. I had my Taurus g3c on my hip and a Glock mag carrier on my belt. No one was paying attention and I was being respectful and no scaring people like the internet has stated that I would.

I walk down the aisle and see this older guy , probably the age of my dad 60s. He looks at my gun and says "you know you don't have to carry a gun right?" Now I've had people complement me before but I've never had anyone ask me not to carry. So I stop and decided to engage.

I say "yes sir, it's my choice to carry." He goes on to say that "you don't have to , I never have." I say "I hope that it never changes for you." He goes on to say "you know there are a lot of mass shootings." I say "yes sir, that's part of why I carry."

He asks "what if someone smacks you on the head and takes the gun and then kills people." I answer "it's the way I carry and the type of gun I carry prevents that."

He then walks off. I was nice and calm and cool the entire time. I wasn't on edge about him questioning me.

To me it's crazy how many people think that it's wrong for people to defend themselves.
