What is something that made you realize the internet isn’t a representation of the world?

I was reading this article and it made me think. This man was a narcissistic asshole who manipulated many people. He was a sex offender and got caught but was able to manipulate people to get a low sentence. The article talked about how many people thought he was cute or hot or how they admired him for being able to get a low sentence. <br><br>This is just one of many things I’ve noticed and I think the internet has a weird dynamic and I’m not sure if I just see it more because of my job but it really surprised me.
