I stole hundreds of dollars and lied about giving it to a homeless person.

I worked at this one fast food place, and I was financially struggling at the time to pay for rent. So one day I stole around $300 of the restaurants money and told people I gave the money to a homeless person. I gave a good chunk of the money to my dad to pay for his and my moms groceries, while I kept $50 to get something to eat and pay for my gas. I never told anyone the truth, and I have always kept it a secret. The manager immediately took the whole incident of me giving away the money to a homeless person up with corp, and corp said they would talk to him. I know this is wrong, but I did it and I am truly sorry. I have not and shall never again steal again.
