The big problem in the US is that the GOP refuses to allow Democrats to govern.

conservatives have a right to believe what they believe. They absolutely have a right to stop voting for Democrats. They don't have a right to prevent Democrats from governing if they win a majority of the vote.<br><br>What is interesting is that Republicans are using this BS debt ceiling debate as a way to cut social spending. They will force Democrats to agree to 1) spending cuts 2) national debt reduction 3) balanced budget amendment in order to raise the debt ceiling.<br><br>That is extortion.<br><br>Now the real question will be whether the Biden administration will fold under these threats.
