AITA for refusing to let my FIL buy me a car?

Hello. My FIL is a very wealthy man. I am married to his youngest son, Yannis, and I have been married to him for a few months. My in-laws do not approve of our marriage and the only reason we are together is because Yannis has a trust fund and his parents can't cut him off access. <br><br>They have tried to buy their way out of this marriage. That's what I like to call it. They have tried to buy me a house, a car, money, and many other things. I've politely declined and said thank you. <br><br>At Christmas dinner with the whole family, my FIL started berating me and telling me that weren't going to get what they thought I was. He then said that Yannis would just leave me and then I'd be out of luck. I was so angry and hurt by his words that I stood up and told him that I wasn't in it for the money and I loved Yannis and that's it. He told me to leave his house and never come back. I haven't heard from him since and it was a month ago.
