What the hell happened to this sub?

I've been coming to this sub for about 5 years, and the last year and a half it's gone absolutely down the drain.

I don't use drugs anymore, but I enjoy the breakdown of drugs and the information about drugs.

Reading the level of ignorance on this sub is astounding.

Half the threads have no credible sources, and people are like "well I don't need a source, believe me I'm a doctor" or "a source is lunacy, believe me I'm a pharmacist".

Of course people are going to be skeptical if you don't have sources for what you're saying. You know what sub this is right? The level of ignorance with how drugs work and how they affect the brain and your body is insane. A lot of the new users know nothing about drugs and I find myself correcting them with sources for lunatics.

I will always love drugs. I think they're really cool, and I think they can be fun. Not to mention they are an important part of society and culture. However, I don't use drugs anymore because of how bad my mental health and addiction got.

I think people should be well-informed about drugs before using them, and I don't think that's the case here.
