CMV: It's totally normal that men lose their sex drive after turning 40.

I'm not sure if this is a popular opinion, at least, I couldn't find much about it on Reddit (except for one very anti male post). But I can say this for sure: EVERY man loses his libido after 40. I've literally asked every guy around me, and it's the same story. I'm 33 and I'm still super horny, but I was 17 when I started having sex, so I had a good 16 years of being sexually active.

But if you're (or have been) in love, you know from the beginning that your libido is gonna go down at a certain point. There's some sort of love-sex cycle going on. It's easy to deny this, but it's a fact.

Still, I have the feeling it's the women that always talk about the "lack of intimacy" after 40. I'm not sure if they even like sex from the beginning. There's always a reason to not have sex, some sort of excuse to say no. I have been in 3 long relationships and in the end, the woman always had a reason to not have sex. It's so common, it's almost been the norm for me. It's like they have to have some kind of reason to say no. At least, that's what I think. I always found an array of reasons to always say yes and be (very) spontaneous. At some point, I even bought my own condoms out of anger. It's some sort of self respect, you know?

So no, I don't believe we lose interest in sex after 40. It's all bull, I'm sure. It's just bull, I'm sure. So, change my view!
