Is my 2 month old baby boy's constant screaming at night a cry for help?

First of all, I just want to say that I love my son to death, and I have done everything I know to be a good mother to him, so please, no judgement, I just need some advice. He was born on April 22 and for about 2 weeks now he's been screaming his head off almost every night for about 4 to 5 hours, and I'm at my wit's end.

When he was first born, I was able to do the 4-7-8 breathing technique to calm him down, but now it doesn't seem to work, I've tried everything from his pacifier, a warm bath, white noise, a car ride, rocking, swaddling, burping, etc, and he just continues to scream. I can usually calm him down by giving him my finger and sucking on it like a boob, but this isn't sustainable for the entire night and it's taking a toll on my relationship with my partner, and my health, as I'm just getting no sleep at all.

I'm at a loss for what to do, because he seems happy and contented during the day and he's been gaining weight and pooping/urinating normally, so I feel like he's getting enough milk, but I'm wondering if there's something else that I could be doing for him that would help. I have a pediatrician appt on the 8th and I'm just looking for any advice I can get before then.
