What if substitute teachers had a way to organize and share information about classrooms and students?

I am a sub who has been using a note-taking app that allows me to keep notes on students (classrooms). I can sort by student name, classroom, and date. I have access to these notes via the app and web.

I keep track of:

* Student behaviors (positive and negative)
* Class management strategies that work and don't work
* Lesson plans and activities that work and don't work
* Lesson plans and activities that need to be adjusted
* Ideas for future lessons and activities
* Ideas for classroom organization and decor
* Who has been absent and for how long
* Who has had difficult weeks and need a little extra support

This information has been super useful for me to help tailor my teaching to the specific classroom and students I'm in. Imagine if all subs had access to information like this and could contribute their own insights. New teachers and subs could have access to this info as well.

It would be nice if:

* Each school district had an app/website that subs and teachers could use to share information about classrooms and students
* This app/website was organized in a way that made it easy to search for specific students or classrooms
* Teachers could make account for students that have specific needs such as IEPs, ESL, or students with disabilities and subs could access that information before they start their day subbing
* Teachers could keep track of their subs, how long they have been subbing for them, and subs performance
* Teachers could communicate with subs and subs could communicate with teachers
* It had a messaging system so that teachers, admins, and subs could communicate with each other about things such as lesson plans and classroom management

Has anyone else thought of this? Is this something that already exists?
