I stole a pair of Tom Ford glasses from the Louis Vuitton boutique at the Plaza Hotel in NYC

I stole a whole pair of Tom Ford glasses from the Louis Vuitton boutique at the Plaza Hotel in NYC. I’m a former employee. I’m not proud of this at all but I was a victim of a very tragic circumstance of a medical emergency and I was left without medical insurance and I was in need of eye glasses. I was in a very low point in my life and desperate. I never stole anything in my life but I was in a desperate situation. I stole a brand new white Tom Ford glasses. My former coworkers saw me and they called security but by the time they got there I was already gone. I went to the Apple store and enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and the security never showed up. I don’t condone stealing but in my situation I really had no choice. I needed glasses to work and I was in a really tough situation. I’m glad I got away but I do think of what I did and I’m not proud of it.
