Christmas gifts for teachers

FFC, is it true that teachers have a favorite student who they’d give a cash gift back to if the student gave them cash? Of course, the info I’ve found is related to Asian countries and a single Canadian study…. <br>Christmas gifts for teachers, how much do you spend? It’s a challenge to me. I don’t want to be a poor Canadian but I also don’t want to give cash like a rich Asian.<br>TIA
