Do people “prairie wife”?

My husband works from home in a separate room and I have started to dress up a bit more when I go grocery shopping, etc. I’ve found that I’ve been dressing better everyday for no reason. I’m aware of the “prairie wife” idea but what I’m wondering is literally if people “prairie wife” but not “prairie husband”. Do men get all dressed up like the idea of “prairie wife” and what’s the name?
