I have given the nod to a single mom and she gave a full smile in return

To nod to a female of the opposite sex is a classic move that is not just a boost to the noder's self esteem but the nodded person as well. I am a 29 year old male who has been in 2 relationships, have been told that I am the nod type, and I have always been self-assured of my looks. I have gone a couple of years being single and have put myself out there and have given a number of nods over the years. The reaction have been mixed from appreciation to disgust. I have come to realize that the female's reaction to the nod is dependent on them. I have come to the conclusion that I will go back to being single for the rest of my life.<br><br>I was out with a couple of my friends at a coffee shop that is almost full. The barista handed me a coffee and just as she did, a mom and her two children walked in, they had to sit at the bar counter. I saw her face and I was immediately drawn in and I feel my self-assurance kick in. I finish my coffee and walked over to throw away my cup. As I walk past her, I give the best nod I have ever given. I can feel her eyes on me as I am walking away and when I turn around she gives the brightest and widest smile I have ever seen. I felt like a king.<br><br>I know this just my ego being stroked and a self-assuring pat on my the back and that I shouldn't give it much thought but her smile will carry me through this week.
