Communism would lead to true stagnation of society

Communism in its true form would suppress all individualism and drive in people. People would be like cogs in a machine and since there was no competition there would be no reason to improve anything. <br><br>Sure, humans are greedy and selfish, but that same greed and selfishness motivates us to work harder and make better things. Capitalism has its problems but at least it provides competition and drive in humans to improve their lives. In a communist society there would be no reason to get the best grades or to work harder since there is no benefit to it.<br><br>Why work harder as a brain surgeon when you can be unionized manual labor and not risk losing your life and have more free time for other things? Communism suppresses human’s selfness and drive and does not encourage people to be better and achieve greatness.
