New to teaching- what should I know?

I am finishing my student teaching in high school English and I got a full time teaching job! I am so excited but also just a bit worried about entering a new career field without a lot of experience. This subreddit has given me amazing advice already.<br><br>What should I absolutely know about teaching before I start? What shouldn't I do? What should I prioritize? What are some tips/tricks I don't know about?<br><br>TL;DR- New to teaching high school English. What should I know?
