EDIT: I'm sorry for all the drama this post generated. I'm glad it helped so many of you and I apologize again for the negative reactions you got.

Adulting is a Reddit sub which is dedicated to advice for people who feel like they need help with the transition into adulthood. There are a lot of helpful and mature people over there who will gladly give you any advice you need. From cooking to mental health, from budgets to relationships, from how to change your sheets to what to do if you get an injury.

If you're going through a tough time, or you want to know more about something, you'll probably find the info you're looking for there.

Let me know in the comments what other subs you think would be helpful for someone in need of advice and information!

Edit: I'd like to add some more information so you guys know where to find the information you need. Some really good subs for beginners, aside from r/relationships and r/adulting (the most obvious ones), are:

r/nosleep - this one is for CARING and not for the faint of heart.

r/wolfpack - same as above

r/redscarepod - believe it or not, they have a super nice and supportive community of people who will genuinely try to help you with whatever problem you're having.

r/roosterteeth - another one with a really supportive and caring community overall. They're very tolerant and non-judgemental and really easy to talk to.

r/rant - if you need to talk about something. They have an 8-hour rule, so be sure to delete your post after that time has passed.

r/personalfinance - good if you have any questions about money and finances.

r/ChatGPT - good for any AI-related questions.

r/ethtrader - good for any questions about crypto/trading/wallets, etc

r/confession - a lot of people have posted about their traumas here and other Redditors have reached out to them and reported the perpetrators to the authorities.

If you're having suicidal thoughts, please seek help. I know it's hard but you're strong enough to do it. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and you need to take it just as seriously.

Also, I'd love to have a conversation with any of you who have any questions or topics they want to discuss, in the comments down below. I'll answer as best as I can and I'll try to make sure you leave feeling a little better.

Remember: you're not alone. There are people all over the world who care about you. Strangers included. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and just because you can't see your mental traumas doesn't mean they aren't there. Please be kind to yourself and don't hesitate to ask for help when you need it.
