Reminder that the Korean War was cheered by the Chinese Communist Party

Korean War 1950-1953: <br><br>**As many as 3 million soldiers fought on behalf of both North and South Korea; one-third of whom died. The Chinese intervention in Korea was a major turning point, and only through Soviet military support were the North Koreans able to fight on. Together, they drove the Americans and South Koreans back to the south. Fighting continued until the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953.** <br><br>**Korean War death estimates range from about 2 million to a possible 3 million. This was the deadliest war in Chinese history, surpassing even the Taiping Civil War. Chinese state media put the death toll at 180,000 Chinese soldiers while 400,000 were wounded.** <br><br>Sun Tzu once said "Know yourself, know your enemy and you will win every battle." However, when you are so confused and threatened by the existence of your enemies that you willfully refuse to know them, to know yourself, to have a nuanced view of history, it is impossible to win any battle. <br><br>That's why the left lost so spectacularly. They were so confused by their enemies that they didn't even have a clear idea of what their enemies were fighting for. They thought Trump was Hitler, or they thought that Trump was Putin. They thought the Republicans were Fascists or they thought the Republicans were stupid and weak. They thought the wars the US waged were unjust and imperialist, and yet they also thought that the US was a victim of Russia and China. <br><br>They were so confused they thought that the US was so weak it needed to be saved by a massive apparatus of media, academia, corporations and government. They thought the US was so strong it could crush any country it wanted at any time, and yet also thought it was so fragile it needed to be protected by censorship and propaganda. <br><br>Even now, the left cannot see the results of their confusion. They think they have saved democracy and saved the US from Fascism. But in reality they have only made worse a bad situation. <br><br>They have made the system they hate even stronger, and they have only strengthened their enemies by weakening themselves in their confusion and hatred. <br><br>But the results of their actions will be seen, soon enough.
