I don't want to post this anywhere else on reddit but i feel like i have to post it somewhere so here it is.

A few weeks ago my mom was visiting and she found clothes from my ex girlfriend that i didn't throw away. She was very upset and screamed at me for a long time because she thought i was still in love with her after 4 years. The next day however she was completely calm and rational. When i asked her about it she said "your father talked to me." I asked her what my father said to get her calmed down so fast and she didn't answer. Just smiled and went on to talk about something else. Then last night my dad was visiting. He asked me about my clothes and i told him i was planning on throwing them away but hadn't gotten around to it. I asked him what he said to make my mom so calm so quickly and he said he told her to calm down. The rest of the night however my mom was very very quiet, almost like a zombie. What the fuck did my dad say to her?
