My wife has been making noises about swinging. Does that mean she’s cheating?

We have been married for five years. <br><br>She confessed that she used to be promiscuous in the past. I have never found any evidence that she cheated on me. <br><br>Recently, she started bringing up the idea of swinging. I’m just a guy. And really have little knowledge of the details of swinging. But my main concern is that it’s basically her way of having multiple sexual partners and calling it something else.People that do swinging are they basically swinging in the sense that they’re not dating their partners, but they’re still with their partners? Are they swinging because they want an open marriage? What does a swinging lifestyle entail? Is it the same thing as polyamory? I know that polyamory is exclusive to the people that are involved in the relationship, but is swinging the same thing? She’s never mentioned an open relationship, but I’m worried about the risks involved with swinging.I did not expect to be in this place in my life. I just want my marriage to be happy and that my wife is happy and fulfilled. I don’t want her to think that I’m insecure, but I’m really just trying to protect my marriage and myself from any potential problems that can arise from swinging.
